Something cool to drink?
A cocktail video demo - a tipple eminently suitable for our watch party!
This month we are doing something a bit different on Murder, She Cooked as it is my book launch month. I’m super busy getting this little baby (which includes a chapter about Murder, She Wrote of course) out into the world.
Signed copies are now available via my Etsy shop.
Non-signed books via Amazon and to order via your local bookshop if you are in the USA or UK.
Recipes from the kitchens of all the stars on the cover, plus many more. It’s a love letter to TV detectives and the dishes the mere mortals who played them liked to eat. Here’s a taster…
Right, that’s all for the book plug!
This month, I’m hosting a joint watch party in conjunction with my other newsletter Dinner and a Movie.
Details will follow but for now, pop this date in your diary.
The movie features our very own Angela playing Miss Marple in The Mirror Crack’d! Available on lots of streaming platforms and on DVD.
If you have never been to a watch party before, do come! It’s so much fun chatting with people all around the world as we all watch the same movie from our own sofas.
You will need access to my Dinner and a Movie chatroom for the full experience so click below to register for the VIP area! Please note - it’s a different chatroom than we use for the Murder, She Wrote watch parties.
I’ll be running a Kojak Lollipop Lickathon during the movie (it’s a race to get to a completely clean lolly stick) so if you’d like to join in, make sure you have a lollipop about your person!
Normal service will resume in August with the next Murder, She Wrote episode guide and recipe - a signature dish from Joe Santos.
Yes, you, Joe Santos!
The video postcard this month for beloved members of the Cabot Cove Club (aka paid subscribers) is a demonstration of a cocktail allegedly invented by two stars of The Mirror Crack’d - Elizabeth Taylor and Rock Hudson.
It’s called a Giant Martini - as they rustled it up when they were working together on the set of Giant in Marfa, Texas.
It’s a humdinger!
PS - if you voted for which dish I should cook on book launch day, a report is coming soon about what I cooked and ate!
