Greetings lovely ones! I have FINISHED writing Cooking The Detectives. It has been a mammoth effort but it’s done.
There is a chapter about Murder, She Wrote of course, but also some other TV detective shows that I’m guessing some of you also enjoy - Miss Marple, Poirot, Midsomer Murders (aka Inspector Barnaby), Magnum P.I. and many more. Here’s the cover - I wonder how many of these sleuths you can name?
If you’d like to get your hands on a signed copy sent directly from my home here in the Cabot Cove of the UK (Hastings) it’s now available to pre-order.
I can add a personalised message to you, or a loved one if you are buying it as a gift. I can do this with any of my books, I love seeing what folks request.
To celebrate the book coming out, I’d love you to join me at an online party. Pop this date in your diary, and get yourself a lollipop in readiness. Everyone invited.
The party will involve Angela Lansbury and a prize giveaway - all will be revealed soon…
In other news, my Silver Screen Suppers blog had its 19th birthday this week. I’ve written about somewhere close to 2,000 movie star recipes over that time as I also wrote a blog specifically about Vincent Price recipes during the Vincentennial year. Crazy eh?!
I bought a painting to celebrate, to remind me of the first movie star recipe I ever tried to make, Bette Davis’ Boston Baked Beans.
It saved me from having to make them again - haha!
Thom has just added all the paintings in his Celebrities Drinking Coffee series to his online shop. If you fancy one - don’t delay!
Loads of other goodies available at Thom’s shop - including this - do have a peek.
Greetings to all the new visitors here prompted by Tim Benzie of the brilliant Solve-Along-A-Murder-She-Wrote who has been in Mendocino at the Murder, She Wrote Festival. I am hereby pledging that I WILL GO ONE YEAR SOON. Seeing all Tim’s videos of him jogging past Seth’s house, coming out of Loretta’s beauty parlour and posing in front of Jessica’s house made me green with envy!
This month’s video postcard for my beloved paid subscribers features
