International Murder, She Wrote Day!

19th May will be all about Murder, She Wrote, annually, forever!

Inspired by the annual International Angela Lansbury Appreciation Day, I have created an annual International Murder, She Wrote Day!

The very first episode of the show was screened here in the UK on 19th May 1985

and I hereby announce that I will be celebrating the gloriousness that is Murder, She Wrote on this day every year for as long as I live. Join me!

How will you celebrate? Here are a few ideas.

1 - do the Angela Lansbury workout with me at 5 pm GMT on Instagram (I am @silverscreensuppers on Instagram)

2 - close the curtains and have an all-day Murder, She Wrote viewing marathon.

3 - bake an Angela Lansbury date and walnut cake and share it with friends or family.

4 - do some colouring in.

5 - dress up as our heroine and attempt some crime-solving, or book a night out in the future to do so at the brilliant Solve-Along-A-Murder-She-Wrote.

6 - have some friends over and cook a dish from Murder, She Cooked together.

7 - do a Murder, She Wrote jigsaw.

8 - play the Murder, She Wrote board game

9 - Join the Murder, She Wrote Book Club and spend the day with your head in a book.

10 - join my watch party! It’s a virtual event so join us, wherever you are in the world.

or something else I haven’t thought of or ALL OF THE ABOVE !

During the watch party, we’ll be having fun in the chat room so do join us - you can chat via phone, text, or laptop.

More details will follow but we’ll be watching the same episode - One White Rose For Death - at the same time all over the world!
