How To Join Our Watch Parties

It is simple to join our watch parties but if you haven’t been to one before, here’s a step-by-step guide.
Have the movie/TV episode ready to go
Find your DVD copy or streaming version of Psycho and/or Murder, She Wrote Incident in Lot 7 (series 8, episode 13) so that you have it primed for 7 pm.
Double-check the time if you are not in the UK as our clocks go back on Sunday - here’s a link to World Time Buddy.
Gather your snacks and beverages of choice around you and plump up the pillows!
Access to our private chatroom
If the bouncer has not yet given you access to the VIP area of our imaginary cinema bar where chat about the episode, click on the blue button below. You can sign up in advance so you are READY on the night.
To join us at the bar, just go to Murder, She Cooked on Substack (murdershecooked.substack.com) and you will see a “Chat” tab at the very top of the homepage, second from the left.
Click on that and you should see the thread from our previous watch party
If you are accessing the chat room via the app - the icon is the one on the left (blacked out here) that looks like two speech bubbles)
On the night I will open a new thread and I will give everyone a few minutes to settle in. I will countdown to press play. Feel free to join in with the live chat during the screenings, or if you prefer, wait until the end to let us know your thoughts.
Watch parties free of charge and are open to everyone. Tell all your chums!
