Would you like to test a recipe for Murder, She Cooked Volume 2?

The most fun thing about writing the Murder, She Cooked book was corresponding with Murder, She Wrote fans all around the world who generously offered to test recipes for me. There were kitchen disasters, COVID-related ingredient shortages and pet-related stories a go-go. Many of which I included in the book.

Murder, She Cooked contains episode guides and accompanying recipes for the first six seasons of the show, and volume two will cover seasons 7-12 plus the four TV movies. I’m excited to be delving back into the show, re-watching episodes snuggled up in bed with my Jessica Fletcher fish jumper knitting!

Fancy testing a recipe?

Everyone is welcome to volunteer to test, even if you don’t consider yourself a great cook. I’ll include feedback from my testers in the book, you’ll be named in the acknowledgements, and I will love you forever.

If you see something you fancy in this list, nab it via the comments or by replying to this email if that’s how you are receiving this missive. I will send you the recipe and a feedback form, and I’ll update this list each time a recipe is claimed.

I’m happy to have more than one tester per recipe so don’t be shy!

By the way, a friend I have known for around 20 years recently asked me if I made all these recipes up. Absolutely not. They are all recipes that the stars of the screen shared with magazines and cookbook compilers as being favourite things to cook - or at least to eat!
