Would you believe it? There are ten recipes from Dame Angela’s kitchen in the Murder, She Cooked book, and just after it was released, another one came along!
I’ve made a little video to show how Angela liked to make her salad sandwiches and what she put in ‘em.
Usually, these video demos would be extra content for members of the Cabot Cove Club (aka my lovely paid subscribers) but I’ve just realised that when I loaded this up to YouTube, I accidentally made it public - so the WORLD has already seen it! Well, about 800 people! So here it is for all of you guys too. Hope you enjoy it, it’s about 10 minutes long. Let me know if you treat yourself to a Salad Sandwich a la Lansbury!
This recipe was on a leaflet folks could send off for when the Positive Moves exercise VHS video came out. Thanks to newsletter reader Samantha Radak for sending me this.
Do you have this leaflet? I am dying to know if there were any other recipes on that leaflet that I don’t have in the collection - please do get in touch.
Stop press news!
Samantha has just released a VEGAN MURDER, SHE WROTE COOKBOOK - it’s so good! Sam came up with a really fun concept, Around The World with J.B. Fletcher, and shared vegan recipes appropriate to the many countries our globe-trotting sleuth visits in the series. This would be a great gift to self or a fabulous gift for vegan chums.
Here’s a link to Samantha’s book on Amazon. Samantha also produced this fun colouring book. Pop it on your Christmas list!
Next up for Cabot Cove Club members
The next behind-the-scenes content for club members will be something a bit different. It’s a sneaky peek of the draft chapter about Murder, She Wrote that will be in my next book, Cooking the Detectives. I’m excited to hear what you think of it. Unlike Angela Lansbury’s Salad Sandwich Video Demo, nobody has seen this except my other half. Coming atcha soon!
Here come all the linky-links!
My books are available worldwide via Amazon (switch to your own country for the correct pricing)
or via my Etsy shop (these will come directly from me and can be signed if you wish).

My friend Tim’s live Murder, She Wrote shows are an absolute HOOT. Why not spend an evening with lots of other Fangelas in real life?!

Could you do hummus instead of the mayo? I’d imagine that would be delicious too. Especially if you had the feta too.
