For the second of my Angela Lansbury recipe demos, I’ll talk folks through her vinaigrette formula
and explain why I think there is a typo in the recipe found in the Positive Moves book.
But firstly, I wanted to share a link to the glorious website hosted by my internet buddy Brian Theis.
Brian featured Angela’s Recipe for Walnut Date Bread this month, and shared a great photo of the fun a bunch of us had cooking it together on Zoom many moons ago.
Shall I do this again? We can all get together in kitchens all over the world and make Angela’s delicious cake? Let me know if that sounds like something you’d like me to organize.
Or perhaps you’d like a cook-along featuring one of Angela’s other recipes? Here are all of those I have in the collection. If you have any others please do let me know. Work has begun on volume 2 and I’d love to include some new recipes from Angela’s kitchen.
Angela Lansbury’s Cottage Pie
Angela Lansbury’s Kitchen Sink Salad
Angela Lansbury’s Angel Hair Pasta with Tomatoes
Angela Lansbury’s Garden Vegetable Soup
Angela Lansbury’s Rutabaga Purée
Angela Lansbury’s Beefsteak, Kidney and Oyster Pudding
Angela Lansbury’s Angie’s Famous Power Loaf
Angela Lansbury’s Mustard Vinaigrette
Angela Lansbury’s Jessica’s Cheesecake
Angela Lansbury’s Salad Sandwich
Perhaps I should put it to a vote? Fingers crossed that the one containing oysters doesn’t come out top!
When I do the online cook-along it will be open to everyone, but as a mark of my appreciation to members of the Cabot Cove Club (aka my lovely paid subscribers) here’s a behind-the-scenes video of me making Angela’s vinaigrette.
